Perfect weather for Holy Week plans
As anticipated after several days of heat and calima in Tenerife, it seems this year the weather will ‘respect’ Holy Week, inviting people to attend religious processions or make other outdoor plans. According to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), for this Maundy Thursday, the calima will continue to recede and thermometers will range between 16 and 26 degrees. Furthermore, it will be a day dominated by clear skies.
Archipelago-wide forecast: clear with a mild drop in temperature
Regarding the forecast for the archipelago as a whole, conditions will be clear, with some intervals of low cloud on north-facing coasts in the morning. Temperatures will remain unchanged or see a slight drop. A moderate north-easterly wind is expected, with some strong intervals in low-lying areas exposed to the trade winds.
