Major Social Housing Development Approved for Arona
The Canary Islands Government’s Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Mobility has approved the drafting of the construction project for 59 publicly-funded social homes and garage spaces in the municipality of Arona. This batch of properties, with a budget of €16,002,609, is part of a wider file that envisages a total of 159 homes distributed across Arona, Adeje and Guía de Isora in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and in Arrecife and Santa Lucía de Tirajana in the province of Las Palmas, the regional government announced on Sunday.
Project Details and Funding
The development will be built on the ‘Marazul’ plot, located between Astrón and Estrella Polar streets in Arona. It is financed by EU Next Generation funds, channelled through the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) as part of Spain’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
Comprehensive Construction Plan
The project includes sub-projects for low-voltage electrical installations, plumbing, thermal installations, and health and safety studies. It also covers the technical management of both the main project and the sub-projects, in addition to health and safety coordination.
