‘A Fragile and Wonderful World’ at TEA Tenerife

TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes is screening Cyril Aris’s A Fragile and Wonderful World this weekend at 7pm. Set in a Lebanon devastated by war, the story reveals how the political landscape can fracture even the deepest bonds. This tender and moving film explores the difficult decision to stay in one’s homeland or seek a better future abroad. It is a visually stunning narrative that reflects on family and hope in uncertain times. The film was born from Aris’s need to capture the reality of a generation torn between love for their roots and the harshness of their surroundings. The story of Nino and Yasmina is not just a romance; it’s a mirror held up to those who must decide whether to build a home among the ruins or leave in search of a kinder horizon.
