Tenerife Music Festival confirms Saturday line-up after papal visit cancels Friday

Festival organisers press ahead after Friday’s setback

Following Wednesday’s blow, when news broke that Friday’s concerts at the Tenerife Music Festival had been suspended due to Pope Leo XIV’s visit to the island, the organisers have pressed on by releasing the news attendees had been most eagerly awaiting: the performance times for Saturday 13th, which will definitely go ahead.

Saturday’s headliners and schedule

Saturday’s bill is headlined by Iván Ferreiro, Pablo Alborán, Camilo and Ana Mena, with additional sets from Tay de León and DJ Sammyto. The running order for the day is as follows:

18:00 – Tay de León
18:45 – DJ Sammyto
19:45 – Iván Ferreiro
20:45 – Tay de León
21:15 – Pablo Alborán
22:15 – DJ Sammyto
22:45 – Camilo
00:00 – DJ Sammyto
00:30 – Ana Mena

Friday’s cancellation explained

Friday’s concerts, which were due to feature Rels B, Nathy Peluso and El Arrebato, were suspended on Wednesday after the activation of the Canary Islands Autonomous Community’s Civil Protection Territorial Emergency Plan (PLATECA) alert for mass events, prompted by the Pope’s visit to the island.

What ticket holders need to know

Those who had purchased tickets for Friday have several options. If they wish to attend on Saturday instead, they can do so using the same ticket. Those who bought a two-day pass will be able to attend on Saturday only, bringing a guest, meaning the pass will be considered fully used. For everyone else, the procedure for a full refund for Friday’s tickets, or a partial refund for passes used only on Saturday, will be announced in the coming days.
