Parking reservations for TV3 filming in Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council will carry out several temporary parking reservations and suspensions in different parts of the city next week for the filming of a fiction series for the Catalan channel TV3. The measures will exclusively affect parking and will not involve traffic cuts or changes to circulation, as reported this Friday by the capital’s City Council.

Monday 24 August: Avenida Marítima

The first reservation will take place on Monday 24 August on Avenida Marítima, next to the Alameda del Duque de Santa Elena. Around 20 metres of parallel parking on the right-hand side, in the direction of Plaza del Cabildo, will be occupied between 08:00 and 20:30.

Wednesday 26 August: Calle Doctor Jiménez Díaz

On Wednesday 26 August, restrictions will move to Calle Doctor Jiménez Díaz, where approximately 125 metres of parallel parking on both sides will be reserved, on the stretch between Calles Benito Pérez Armas and Blas Cabrera. This measure will be in force from 00:00 to 19:30.

Friday 28 August: Avenida de Madrid

Finally, on Friday 28 August, around 90 metres of parking will be reserved on Avenida de Madrid, on the side of Parque La Granja. The reservation will affect the right-hand side in the direction of Avenida Benito Pérez Armas and will remain in place between 07:00 and 22:30.

Exclusive use for production vehicles

The City Council has specified that these spaces will be used exclusively for parking vehicles linked to the filming. Furthermore, the municipal authorisation establishes that the stopping and parking of production vehicles must only take place within the areas expressly enabled for this purpose. The actions form part of the logistics necessary for the development of the shoot and do not envisage any impact on vehicular traffic on the roads in question.
