MasterChef world experience comes to tenerife
Santa Cruz de Tenerife will host the first MasterChef World Experience this Sunday, 17 May, a new initiative linked to the El Reto de MasterChef competition. The event will transform the city’s Parque García Sanabria into a space dedicated to gastronomy, entertainment and public participation, running from 11:00 to 14:00.
What the event will offer
Attendees will be able to enjoy a range of live activities inspired by the world of El Reto, bringing the experience of culinary competition to the public in a more accessible, dynamic and immersive way. The programme includes cooking challenges, live demonstrations, interaction with content creators, and open activities for all participants.
The event will also feature Raquel Meroño, team leader of El Reto de MasterChef 2026, who will take part in the day’s scheduled activities.
Bridging online and in-person experiences
MasterChef World Experience aims to bring the universe of El Reto closer to the public, offering a participatory experience where gastronomy and entertainment take centre stage. The initiative blends culinary challenges, live tests, content creator interaction, and open activities for everyone present.
El Reto de MasterChef is the digital culinary competition linked to the MasterChef franchise; it combines cooking, entertainment and content creation through a hybrid format that spans both online platforms and in-person events. The project allows anyone to take part from home via culinary challenges and live dynamics, with a chance to reach the in-person final stages of the contest.
Growing presence across spain
After a first edition that attracted thousands of participants and generated millions of impressions on social media and digital platforms, El Reto de MasterChef continues to expand its presence in different Spanish cities through the MasterChef World Experience events. These open-to-the-public gatherings bring the format’s gastronomic universe closer through live cooking shows, interactive challenges, content creation and participatory experiences.
The project combines gastronomy, technology and entertainment in a format designed to connect with both fans of the television programme and new digital audiences, integrating live broadcasts, influencers, participatory dynamics and multi-platform content.
