Burger Fest Canaria: Europe’s Biggest Gourmet Burger Festival

Santa Cruz Welcomes Europe’s Premier Burger Festival

The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairground is preparing to become the epicentre of gastronomy this weekend for the Burger Fest Canaria. The event, which takes place from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th March, offers free entry, making it an accessible plan for everyone.

A Culinary Showcase of the Canaries

Over the three-day festival, the capital will be transformed into the stage for Europe’s largest gourmet burger festival. More than 40 food trucks and restaurant stalls from across the Canary Islands will present creations designed exclusively for this edition. Attendees can enjoy innovative proposals and burgers crafted with local ingredients. The festival is inclusive, featuring dedicated vegetarian zones and gluten-free alternatives to ensure everyone can partake in the culinary experience.

International Flair and Local Flavours

A major attraction this year is the international participation of New York’s famed Gotham Burger Social Club. The drinks offering is equally impressive, with over 50 taps serving craft and world beers, plus a dedicated wine space showcasing a curated selection of Canarian, Spanish, and international wines. Those with a sweet tooth are catered for by more than 10 specialist dessert stalls, and a children’s zone will keep younger visitors entertained.

Burger Fest Canarias is organised by Bernardo Barrera, owner of Beers La Laguna and Beers Santa Cruz. The event enjoys the support of the Canary Islands Government, Turismo de Tenerife, Comercio de Canarias, Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council through its Development Society, La Laguna City Council and La Laguna Zona Comercial, as well as Santa Cruz de La Palma City Council.
