Fine weather continues but scattered rain possible
This Saturday is set to bring another day of pleasant weather to Tenerife, although some areas may still see light and scattered rain. Winds will remain light and there will be a slight rise in temperatures, which are expected to range between 17 and 24 degrees Celsius. Across the Canary Islands, cloudy intervals will dominate, especially in the north of the mountainous islands.
Aemet forecast for the province of Tenerife
The following outlook has been issued by the state weather agency Aemet and reported by EFE:
Cloudy intervals to overcast skies with a low probability of light, scattered and occasional rain. Temperatures will see little change, except for a slight rise in minimum temperatures in low-lying areas. Generally light trade winds, stronger on eastern and far northwestern slopes and picking up during the afternoon. Over the central peaks, northerly winds will die down to light during the morning.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Minimum and maximum temperatures forecast: 17°C / 24°C. Cloudy intervals with predominantly overcast skies in the north, where light, scattered and occasional rain cannot be ruled out. Temperatures will see little change or minima rising slightly. Generally light trade winds, stronger on eastern and northwestern slopes and freshening in the afternoon.
San Sebastián de La Gomera
Minimum and maximum temperatures forecast: 17°C / 23°C. Cloudy intervals to overcast with probable light rain, especially in the northeast. Temperatures will see little change. Generally light trade winds, stronger on southeastern and northwestern slopes and picking up during the afternoon.
Santa Cruz de La Palma
Minimum and maximum temperatures forecast: 17°C / 21°C. Cloudy intervals with predominantly overcast skies in the north, where light, scattered and occasional rain cannot be ruled out. Temperatures will see little change. Generally light trade winds, stronger on southeastern slopes and in the far northwest, freshening in the afternoon.
Valverde, El Hierro
Minimum and maximum temperatures forecast: 12°C / 17°C.
