Tenerife’s public bus operator Titsa will introduce its summer timetables from 22 June, with enhanced services to coastal areas and popular beaches. New routes 546 and 948 will serve Playa del Socorro and Anaga, while frequencies will be increased on key lines in Santa Cruz, La Laguna, and the north of the island. Seasonal adjustments include the suspension of university shuttle services and other low-demand routes.

A Ryanair flight from Manchester to Tenerife Sur was forced to divert to Faro, Portugal, after two passengers caused a disturbance on board. Video footage shows a man singing and dancing in the aisle while other passengers shout at him to sit down. The aircraft eventually continued to Tenerife after police removed the disruptive passengers.

Maintenance work on the Tenerife tram line will result in traffic changes at a key roundabout in Santa Cruz de Tenerife from this Sunday. Drivers are advised of new restrictions and alternative routes, though tram and bus services will operate as normal.

Fred. Olsen Express has advised passengers that access to Santa Cruz port will be via Muelle Norte on Friday 12 June for the papal visit. The company urges travellers to check official channels for traffic updates and arrive early. Port authority confirms maritime traffic and pedestrian restrictions from midnight to 5pm.
