Bad Bunny’s heartwarming moment with fans
If there is one quality no one can deny the hugely successful Bad Bunny, it is his humility. Despite millions of records sold, the sold-out stadium shows he performs around the world, and the icon he has become for millions of people, he remains the young Puerto Rican who never forgets his roots. On the contrary, he wears them as a badge of honour wherever he goes. It is not unusual to see him greeting fans in any corner of the globe, sitting down to play dominoes in his native Puerto Rico, or even popping into a Zara store like an ordinary shopper.
But beyond these gestures – which may surprise some and seem perfectly natural to others – what has gone viral in recent days is a fond memory he holds from his first European tour. And yes, it involves his visit to the Canary Islands.
“I miss Canarias”
During one of his concerts in Madrid, part of his ‘DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour’ (which has also taken him to Barcelona), the artist did not hesitate to step down from the stage to greet members of the audience. While chatting with them, Bad Bunny mentioned the archipelago, making it clear it holds a special place in his heart. “I miss Canarias,” he said.
“One of the things I remember most from my first European tour is when I went to the Canary Islands, because I felt the accent was similar to that of Puerto Rico,” the singer added.
