La Noche Romántica returns for a tenth year of candlelit romance

A night of romance across Spain’s prettiest villages

The Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Spain will hold the tenth edition of ‘La Noche Romántica’ this Saturday, illuminating 69 of its member municipalities with music by candlelight, torches, decorated streets, themed offers, and a collective kiss that will also have an international reach.

The world’s most beautiful kiss

The association has explained that at midnight, the iconic ‘Most Beautiful Kiss in the World’ will take place — a collective, simultaneous gesture that will bring life to the squares of all participating villages. This symbolic act of love, affection and fraternity will cross borders and be held at the same time in “hundreds of the most beautiful villages in France, Italy and Belgium,” they added.

Local businesses get involved

The local commercial and business sector is taking part in the initiative, with numerous restaurants, hotels, romantic rural houses and small shops designing special themed offerings for the occasion.
