Man suffers cardiac arrest at Lava Live festival in Lanzarote
A 60-year-old man suffered a cardiac arrest during the second day of the Lava Live festival in Lanzarote and was successfully stabilised thanks to the rapid response of medical teams on site, according to La Voz de Lanzarote.
How the incident unfolded
The man was enjoying one of the concerts when he collapsed to the ground, immediately triggering the event’s emergency protocol. The coordinated efforts of Emerlan, the National Police, and private security staff were instrumental in reversing the cardiac arrest before the victim was evacuated to Hospital Doctor José Molina Orosa.
