Eólica 2026: Electronic music and sustainability return to Tenerife

Festival returns to Tenerife with first 2026 lineup reveal

The EÓLICA International Renewable Energy Festival has unveiled the first preview of its 2026 lineup, confirming its return to Tenerife with a blend of electronic music, contemporary culture and sustainability in a unique setting. The festival will take place on 16 and 17 October at the Institute of Renewable Energy Technology (ITER) in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, Tenerife. The initial selection of artists gives a taste of the scale of this new edition and reinforces its reputation as one of the most distinctive cultural events on the Spanish scene.

International electronic heavyweights lead the bill

Among the confirmed names are key figures from the international electronic scene, including Jayda G, Grammy-nominated and a leading light in contemporary house; Danilo Plessow (Motor City Drum Ensemble), one of the most respected selectors on the global circuit; and London collective Horse Meat Disco, icons of club culture. They are joined by Dee Diggs, one of the most influential figures in New York’s underground; Victor Ruiz, a benchmark for melodic techno worldwide; TSHA, one of the standout producers in the new British electronic scene; and Eris Drew, a key player in contemporary house.

The lineup also includes Biggi Veira (GusGus DJ set), an essential figure in European electronica; Octo Octa, one of the most influential artists in today’s house scene; Rainer Trüby, a leading name in nu-jazz and rootsy electronic music; and Vive La Fête, an iconic project from the European electro-pop scene. Alongside this core, the festival adds Xoel López, one of Spain’s most respected singer-songwriters; Shego, one of the most promising emerging bands in Spanish indie; and Funambulista, broadening the festival’s musical range and reinforcing its open, cross-genre character.

This first programming preview also includes Eric Boelle, Frankawara, Javier Carballo, Discolate Crew, Fernanda Arrau, Gaspar & Elena, Paurro, Bliss b2b Irtap, Lady W. Morales, Vandala, Dj Luuh, Ari (Muse) and Mostany, creating a diverse lineup that stays true to the festival’s DNA. This initial announcement covers a significant portion of the EÓLICA 2026 bill, with further additions to be revealed in the coming weeks.

More than music: art, science and sustainability

Beyond the music, EÓLICA returns with a format that goes beyond the traditional festival concept. The event combines concerts with art, science, technology and participatory activities in an iconic venue – the ITER centre, an international benchmark for renewable energy. Workshops, talks, exhibitions and immersive experiences complete the cultural offering, designed to appeal to all audiences.

With a legacy dating back to 2003 and nine previous editions, EÓLICA has gained international recognition for its environmental commitment, becoming the first festival in Spain to receive the Greener Festival Award. Its return in 2026 reflects the continued relevance of its model and the need for cultural spaces aligned with sustainability and innovation.
