Canary Islands investigates 78 petrol stations over price hikes
The Canary Islands Government has launched an inspection of 78 petrol stations across the archipelago to investigate why fuel prices rose uniformly following the outbreak of war in Iran. Vice-President Manuel Domínguez says the probe could lead to sanctions if unfair practices are discovered. The inspection will examine pricing structures between January and May 2026.
