Stable Condition for Patients in Tenerife
The three injured people transferred to Tenerife yesterday following the bus accident in La Gomera remain in hospital in a stable condition, with one still classified as seriously injured. This update was provided this Saturday by the Canary Islands Government’s Ministry of Health.

Furthermore, the Health Ministry detailed in a statement that the three people under observation at the Hospital Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe on La Gomera itself are progressing favourably and are expected to be discharged today.
Details of the Fatal Crash
The accident occurred on Friday when a tourist coach carrying 28 people veered off the road in La Gomera. The crash resulted in the death of a 77-year-old British tourist, while all other occupants, including the driver, sustained injuries of varying severity.
Three of the most seriously injured were airlifted to Tenerife for treatment at the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria and the Hospital Universitario de Canarias. The remaining casualties were taken to the Hospital Insular Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe on La Gomera.
Location and Time of the Incident
The crash happened at 13:20 hours at kilometre 4.500 on the GM-2 road. The tourist bus, operated by the company Gomera Tours, plunged down an embankment from a height of approximately ten metres.
