Fireworks to illuminate Puerto de Santiago
This Saturday, 18 July, the town of Puerto de Santiago will host one of the standout events in Tenerife’s summer festival calendar: the traditional fireworks display as part of the 2026 Fiestas del Carmen. More than 1,000kg of pyrotechnic material is ready to light up the sky over Puerto de Santiago when the clock strikes around midnight. The spectacle, lasting approximately 30 minutes, promises colour and thunderous noise, courtesy of the Hermanos Toste pyrotechnics company from Los Realejos.
Award-winning company with an eco-friendly touch
Hermanos Toste, which has won major international awards, will once again be responsible for this display—one of the most important in the whole of the Canary Islands in terms of duration, variety of effects, pace, and a spectacular finale. The management of Pirotecnia Hermanos Toste has confirmed that recyclable casing materials will be used for the fireworks to minimise environmental impact.
