Phe Festival Tenerife returns in September with Fat Dog and more

Phe Festival cements its place as a trendsetter

The Phe Festival in Tenerife is putting the finishing touches to its eleventh edition, cementing its reputation as the barometer of music trends that are breaking the mould. The festival, held on 4 and 5 September in Puerto de la Cruz, has completed its line-up with the arrival of British acts Fat Dog, Faeda and ARXX. They join the visceral electronic sound of Madrid’s VVV [Trippin’ You] and the restless rock of Bilbao’s EZEZEZ to round off a high-voltage programme.

Two stages and a new club space

For this edition, the festival returns to its two-stage format for 18 live performances, bolstered by a third space, the Phe Club, dedicated to dance culture. Its programme will be revealed in the coming days.

Fat Dog lead the international charge

The confirmation of Fat Dog is one of the major highlights. The Londoners arrive with their album Woof under their arm, ready to show why they are the band of the moment with their chaotic blend of electronics and punk surrealism. The international radar expands further with the queer power pop of the brilliant ARXX and the indie rock of Scottish trio Faeda, who come alongside EZEZEZ courtesy of the export platform The Spanish Wave. These names join a confirmed list that already included Bodega, Ibibio Sound Machine, Getdown Services, Natalia Doco and Ona Mafalda.

National and Canarian talent in the spotlight

When it comes to national and Canarian talent, the final line-up does not let up. The dark electronics of VVV [Trippin’ You] and the elastic live shows of EZEZEZ are joined by Canarian proposals from Good Franco (winners of the Sonora 2026 competition), Xerach and Belice. This block completes a line-up already featuring key names such as Choclock, Carlos Ares, Rufus T. Firefly, Just Becca and Barry B.

Green credentials and community impact

After a decade of history, Phe Festival not only stands out as a cultural reference point in the islands, but also retains for the second consecutive year the prestigious international A Greener Future (AGF) certification. This milestone confirms that musical vanguard and environmental commitment can coexist in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz, integrating the festival as a key part of the municipality’s tourism and social strategy.
