Binter boosts Easter schedule with extra flights

Binter has scheduled 48 extra flights between 27 March and 6 April, creating an additional 5,864 seats on its most popular routes across the Canary Islands. This reinforcement is designed to meet increased passenger demand during the Easter holiday period. Over these dates, the airline will operate a total of 2,640 flights on its inter-island network, offering 197,750 seats.

Peak days for travel

The busiest day for extra operations will be Wednesday, 1 April (Holy Wednesday), with 44 additional flights—a 20% increase on a normal week. This is followed by Sunday, 5 April, with 30 extra flights (+12%); Friday, 27 March, with 24 (+10%); and Saturday, 28 March, with 22 additional services (+10%).

Route-by-route breakdown

The breakdown of additional flights and seats by route is as follows. From Tenerife North Airport, Binter has added 46 flights and 4,030 extra seats to Lanzarote; 34 flights and 2,924 seats to Fuerteventura; and 4 flights with 292 seats to El Hierro.

From Gran Canaria Airport, the airline has scheduled 22 extra flights and 2,536 seats to La Palma; 14 flights and 1,680 seats to Lanzarote; 12 flights and 856 seats to Tenerife South; and 12 flights with 860 seats to El Hierro.
