A new kind of summer night in Tenerife
More than 4,000 people attended the launch of Costa Adeje Siam Night 2026 last Saturday 27 June, a new evening entertainment concept that sees Siam Park adapting its offering for the summer season in Tenerife. The event continues throughout July and August, running from Tuesday to Saturday between 8pm and midnight.
The opening night brought together residents and visitors for a night-time version of the water park, complete with special lighting, music, visual effects and several of its best-known rides operating during the late afternoon and evening. The initiative aims to provide a leisure alternative linked to summer in southern Tenerife, particularly during a time of day when temperatures are more manageable.
Four themed zones inspired by Siam folklore
According to Grupo Loro Parque, which owns Siam Park, the concept goes beyond simply opening the facilities outside normal hours. The experience incorporates a specific atmosphere designed to transform the park’s layout at night. The 2026 edition is organised around four themed zones inspired by characters from Siam’s historical tales. Each space is identified by a colour and an element: green, associated with nature; blue, with water; pink, with the sky; and gold, with fire.
During the launch, visitors explored these four environments, spread across different areas of the park. The event culminated in a final performance combining light, sound, water and fire, with the Wave Palace serving as one of the central points of the show. The artificial beach, walkways and several rides were integrated into the night-time setting, enhanced by lasers, projections, music and special effects.
A different experience from the daytime visit
The organisers aim to create an experience distinct from the usual daytime visit, making the most of the park’s scenery and the atmosphere of summer evenings. Among the attractions included in the experience are some of the park’s most famous rides, such as Tower of Power and Saifa, which take on a different look under night-time lighting. The combination of music, walks through the park and less intense heat allows for a different use of the space.
The offering is designed both for those who want to enjoy the rides and for those who prefer a more relaxed evening, with rest areas and leisure spaces. The opening programme also featured live DJ sets, chill-out zones, interactive games and relaxation areas. Through this, the park aims to diversify its audience, from families and groups of friends to holidaymakers looking for night-time activities during their stay in Tenerife.
