RTVE to broadcast landmark tenth edition
Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) has been named the official television broadcaster of the tenth edition of the Maspalomas Costa Canaria Soul Festival, significantly boosting the profile of one of the most prominent music events in the Canary Islands and a benchmark soul festival across Europe.
Under the agreement between the festival and RTVE, the public broadcaster will provide special coverage, bringing viewers the performances, interviews and highlights of a particularly significant edition – the festival’s tenth anniversary.
A boost for Gran Canaria tourism
The collaboration will also help bolster the visibility of Gran Canaria and the Maspalomas Costa Canaria area as a tourist and cultural destination. The festival, organised with the support of San Bartolomé de Tirajana Town Council and directed and produced by DD Company, will take place from 17 to 19 July 2026 on San Agustín Beach – a venue that has established itself as one of the most unique settings for enjoying live soul music in the open air.
Free entry and declared of local tourist interest
Recognised as a Festival of Local Tourist Interest, the event draws thousands of attendees each year, attracted by its high-quality programming and free admission.
