A nutty new arrival in Tenerife’s south
Pistachio has become one of the most popular flavours in recent years, and one Tenerife-based ice cream shop has made this nut the star of its entire menu. Pistacho’s, a chain with nine branches across Tenerife and one in Lanzarote, has now opened its doors in El Médano.
Free ice cream to mark the occasion
To celebrate the launch, the shop gave away 1,000 ice cream balls to the first customers who visited the new premises at Paseo Nuestra Señora de La Mercedes de Roja on Friday 24 July from 11:00 am. Given the popularity of the offer, it is possible that all available balls have now been claimed.
All about the pistachio
Pistacho’s concept revolves entirely around this nut, offering more than 16 different flavour combinations that blend pistachio with other ingredients. The available varieties include options with coffee, coconut, dulce de leche, cherry, Málaga wine, Dubai-style white pistachio, tiramisu, cinnamon cherry, vanilla crumble, Dubai chocolate, cheesecake, a sugar-free version, raspberry with white chocolate, fig, honey and almond, and Kinder Bueno.
Artisanal quality in every scoop
The shop prides itself on artisanal production methods, using natural ingredients and avoiding artificial or industrial additives. One of the standout features is that all ice creams are made entirely by hand, delivering a creamy texture in every bite. These creations have become essential for fans of the nut, as the quality is evident from the first taste.
Pistacho’s joins the culinary offering of Tenerife South with a unique concept that aims to keep winning over anyone who tries its various creations.
