Flight Diverted After Passenger Disturbance
An aircraft travelling from Malaga to Tenerife was forced to divert to Lanzarote on Thursday after six passengers became disruptive on board. The flight crew requested police assistance to meet the plane upon arrival at the airport, according to reports from the air traffic controllers’ account on X.
Coordinated Landing in Lanzarote
The flight, operated by the airline Vueling, was handled by the Enaire control centre in the Canary Islands. Controllers facilitated a continuous descent and direct approach to the runway for the aircraft. The landing itself was completed without incident, and coordination with the airport ensured National Police officers were present to meet the flight, as confirmed by the same sources.
