Granca Live Fest 2026: Lauryn Hill, Maroon 5 Join Star Line-up

Final Headliners Announced for 2026 Festival

The Granca Live Fest has announced its final additions for 2026, with Lauryn Hill, Juan Luis Guerra, Omar Courtz and Maroon 5 completing the bill for the upcoming edition. The performance by the American band not only closes the programme but adds an extra day on Sunday 5 July to celebrate the festival’s fifth anniversary. The event will be held from 2 to 5 July at the Estadio de Gran Canaria, bringing together major names from international music, Spanish pop, and the new urban scene in one of Spain’s most important summer music meetings.

A Star-Studded Four-Day Schedule

Ms. Lauryn Hill, winner of five Grammy Awards and creator of the historic album ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’—considered one of the most influential records in contemporary music—will headline the opening day. The American artist revolutionised hip-hop, soul and R&B with a sound and voice that defined a generation, and her legacy continues to inspire musicians worldwide. Her performance will open the festival with one of the most respected and influential figures in international music.

Friday 3 July will be headlined by Juan Luis Guerra, a global icon of Latin music with over 30 million records sold, 22 Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards, and a career spanning more than four decades taking bachata and merengue to stages across the planet. His music also maintains a special bond with the Canary Islands, where every visit becomes a genuine collective celebration. He will be joined by Omar Courtz, one of the most prominent voices of the new generation of Latin urban music, with millions of listeners on digital platforms and collaborations with internationally renowned artists.

Fifth Anniversary Celebration with Maroon 5

To celebrate its fifth anniversary, the festival is adding an extra day on Sunday 5 July. Maroon 5, led by Adam Levine, is one of the most successful pop bands of the 21st century, with over 100 million records sold and billions of streams worldwide. The group will close the festival with a setlist full of global hits like ‘Moves Like Jagger’, ‘Sugar’, ‘This Love’ and ‘She Will Be Loved’. This special day will also feature invited Canarian artists, reinforcing the presence of local talent.

All holders of a three-day pass will be able to enjoy the Sunday event free of charge, thereby extending their festival experience. Day tickets and passes will be available from Wednesday 18 March at 12:00 Canary Islands time (13:00 mainland Spain time) via the official website: www.grancalivefest.es.

Consolidating Canarian Culture on the Global Stage

Since 2022, the Granca Live Fest has established itself as the largest music festival in the Canary Islands and one of the most important cultural events of the summer in Spain. In its first four editions, it has brought together over 225,000 attendees from 50 countries, generating an economic impact of 95 million euros and more than 6,000 direct jobs. The festival has brought major names from the global circuit to the Canaries and, in many cases, has introduced internationally renowned artists to the archipelago for the first time, cementing the islands as a key cultural destination.

This growth has been driven by the promoter New Event, responsible for the festival and for projecting the Canary Islands onto the map of major international music events.
