Easter Flight Traffic Rises Across Canary Islands

The network of Aena airports in the Canary Islands is preparing to operate approximately 5,483 flights between Good Friday, 3 April, and Easter Monday, the 6th. This figure represents a 4.35% increase compared to the same period in 2025, according to data provided by the airport operator to Europa Press.

Busy Schedule for the Holiday Weekend

Of the 15,019 flights scheduled across the Canary Islands this Easter week, around 5,483 are concentrated over this weekend and Easter Monday. Among the final four days of the holiday, Saturday is expected to be the busiest, with 1,538 flights scheduled to operate.

Furthermore, 1,470 flights are planned for this Sunday, 4 April, while 1,202 are programmed for today, Good Friday. A total of 1,273 flights are scheduled for Easter Monday.
