The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) continues to update yellow and orange alerts for the Canary Islands. Much of the archipelago is currently under warning for high temperatures, wind and coastal phenomena, at least until Friday, though the agency has not ruled out extending the alerts further, as they are issued with just 48 hours’ notice.
