Cloudy start for Tenerife

Temperatures will change little or fall slightly, with 30°C possible in mid-altitude areas of the south and west.
On La Palma, skies will be cloudy in the north and east, with light and occasional showers likely, mainly in the northeast. Clear spells will gain ground during the second half of the day. Santa Cruz de La Palma will see temperatures between 23°C and 26°C.
La Gomera will also have cloud cover in the north, with light and occasional showers not ruled out, though skies will brighten during the central hours. In San Sebastián, temperatures will range from 24°C to 28°C.
On El Hierro, the north will remain cloudy with a low chance of a light shower, mainly at the start and end of the day. Valverde will see a minimum of 19°C and a maximum of 25°C.
Eastern islands: brighter spells in the afternoon
In the eastern islands, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura will have broken cloud during the first half of the day and the late evening, with clearer skies in the afternoon. On Lanzarote, isolated light showers cannot be ruled out in the early hours, with Arrecife reaching 29°C. Puerto del Rosario will hit 27°C.
Wind and sea conditions
Winds will be moderate from the northeast across much of the Archipelago, with strong intervals on certain slopes of the mountainous islands. There is also a low chance of some very strong gusts on Gran Canaria during the first half of the day.
