Don Omar confirms Gran Canaria concert for 2027

Don Omar returns to the Canary Islands with 2027 tour date

Don Omar has not forgotten the Canary Islands and will return in 2027. The Puerto Rican artist has confirmed a concert in Gran Canaria as part of his new European tour, The Last King World Tour, with a performance scheduled for Saturday 24 July 2027 at the Anexo del Estadio de Gran Canaria in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The date already appears on the singer’s official itinerary as the final stop of the European leg, bringing the total number of Spanish dates to seven for summer 2027.

Organisers have announced that tickets will go on sale from 12 August, when the pre-sale opens, although prices, schedules and VIP packages have yet to be confirmed.

A year on from his triumphant Tenerife performance

The announcement comes barely a year after Don Omar’s massive performance at the Cook Music Fest 2026, held at the Puerto de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. That concert was one of the musical highlights of the summer in the Canary Islands. In the months leading up to the event, more than 146,000 people had registered interest in securing a ticket for a day with a capacity of around 30,000 attendees, leaving thousands of fans unable to see him live.

The singer headlined the lineup on 16 July with a show built around the greatest hits that shaped the history of reggaeton, sharing the bill with artists including Chayanne, Myke Towers, Ivy Queen, Elvis Crespo, Luis Enrique, Sergio Vargas, Farruko, Emily Estefan, Tito Nieves, Olga Tañón and Los Hermanos Rosario.

Now the artist returns to the archipelago with a fresh opportunity for Canarian audiences, this time at one of Gran Canaria’s principal open-air concert venues.

An extended Spanish itinerary

The addition of Gran Canaria expands the calendar initially announced for Spain. When the European tour was first unveiled, only six concerts in the country were listed, but the artist’s official website has now added the Gran Canaria date as the closing show of the European run.

Before reaching the Canary Islands, The Last King World Tour will visit some of Europe’s leading cities, with performances in Zurich, Paris, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Amsterdam, Milan, Naples and London. In Spain, the itinerary begins on 8 July in Bilbao and continues through Valencia, Murcia, Madrid, Málaga and A Coruña before heading to Lisbon on 22 July. Two days later, Don Omar will bring the European leg to a close with his Gran Canaria concert.

Confirmed Spanish tour dates

The singer’s official website confirms the concert will go ahead, although general ticket sales have not yet been activated. Pre-sale opens on 12 August, with registration currently open for those wishing to receive information about future pre-sales and updates.

With The Last King World Tour, Don Omar presents a show spanning more than two decades of his career, accompanied by a large-format audiovisual production designed for stadiums and major venues. During the concert, he is expected to perform some of the most iconic tracks of his career, including his biggest reggaeton anthems.

These songs cemented the Puerto Rican star as one of the most influential figures in reggaeton’s international expansion during the early years of the 21st century and continue to form part of the soundtrack of several generations.
