Tuesday: clouds and light showers in the west
Tuesday will see more clouds than sun across the Canary Islands, with a mix of medium and high cloud cover. Underneath those higher clouds, low clouds will form over the western islands, potentially bringing some sporadic light rain to eastern La Palma and the southeastern midlands of Tenerife during the afternoon. There will still be sunny spells in between.
Temperatures, wind and the Atlantic
Temperatures remain largely unchanged, with the most comfortable conditions along the coast by early afternoon. Some spots may see highs just above 25°C. Moderate northeasterly winds blow across the eastern islands, while the west sees light easterly winds shifting to northeasterly by night. Up on Mount Teide, moderate southwesterly winds are expected. The ocean is calm and cooperative – the biggest waves barely exceed one metre.
