Tenerife’s Silogía Wins Coveted Guía Repsol Soletes Award

Tenerife restaurant shines in national culinary guide

Tenerife has once again made its mark on the national culinary map. The prestigious Guía Repsol has awarded one of its ‘Soletes’ accolades to Silogía restaurant, located in the municipality of Garachico. It features among over 30 new Soletes where you can not only dine but also stay the night.

Recognising charm and authenticity across Spain

This recognition is part of the fourteenth edition of the Soletes awards, which distinguishes more than 300 establishments across Spain for their charm, authenticity, and culinary quality. The selection is designed for those looking to discover new corners of the country during the Easter period, whether in historic quarters or natural settings. In the case of Silogía, experts have praised its gastronomic offering within the setting of the Villa and Port of Garachico, one of Tenerife’s most historic enclaves.

Canarian diversity celebrated with second award

The archipelago has secured a second recognition with Lambada Records, a unique space combining a bar and vinyl record shop in Gran Canaria’s capital, Las Palmas. Both venues reflect the diversity and talent of the current Canarian hospitality scene.

A guide for new experiences and travel

The guide’s director, María Ritter, emphasised that this edition responds to the desire to “enjoy and discover new places”, in a season marked by travel and gastronomic experiences. With this update, the Guía Repsol surpasses 5,000 Soletes distributed across the country, including cafés, bars, restaurants, wine bars, and even accommodations where you can also spend the night. As a new feature, this edition incorporates recommendations in Andorra, thus expanding its reach.

Soletes become a benchmark for discovery

Since their creation in 2021, the Soletes have become a key reference for discovering those charming places that successfully combine tradition, innovation, and a welcoming atmosphere.
