Loquillo Announces Canary Islands Return at Tenerife Peñón Fest

The return of Spanish rock legend Loquillo to the Canary Islands is now confirmed. The artist will be the star attraction on the opening day of the Tenerife Peñón Fest. The event is scheduled for 23 and 24 October in the car park of Santa Cruz de Tenerife’s Palmetum botanical garden.

Legendary Hearts Tour Hits Tenerife

This concert is part of his ‘Corazones Legendarios’ (Legendary Hearts) tour and will be his only performance in the Archipelago. It marks his comeback to the Islands after a five-year absence. With a career spanning over five decades, 24 studio albums, and six LPs, Loquillo arrives in Tenerife having recently sold out major venues like the Movistar Arena and Sant Jordi Club.

For this tour, the Barcelona-born singer revisits his greatest hits with new versions recorded specifically for the show. He promises a spectacle designed to relive the most iconic moments of his long career.

A Stellar National Line-Up

The Tenerife Peñón Fest boasts a line-up featuring prominent names from the Spanish music scene. Alongside Loquillo will be bands and artists such as La La Love You, Pignoise, Biznaga, Maika Makovski, Carlos Sadness, Meliflou, and Postcode. Furthermore, the organisers are keeping a final addition under wraps, to be revealed soon, which is heightening anticipation for this edition.
