Canary Islands demands urgent Aena meeting over Tenerife Sur bus ‘tax’
The Canary Islands government has requested an urgent meeting with airport operator Aena to review a controversial new access and parking system for buses at Tenerife South Airport. The system has caused queues of over half an hour for tourists and drawn fierce criticism from transport firms and tourism officials. The government is demanding the system be paused until a viable alternative can be agreed.
