The tremor was felt by the population with an intensity of II to III on the European macroseismic scale in around twenty locations across the south and along the entire west coast of the island.

A level of II to III means the earthquake is felt by some people indoors. Those at rest experience a swaying sensation or a slight tremor, and hanging objects swing gently. However, no damage is caused to buildings or structures.
