A calm, sunny Thursday across the Islands
Thursday 25 June brings a day of mostly clear skies, calm Atlantic conditions, and pleasantly warm temperatures across the Canary Islands. With little wind to speak of, local afternoon clouds may develop — particularly in the south — but the north sees more sunshine than in recent days. No rainfall is expected anywhere.
Light winds from the north blow across the western islands, while a moderate north-easterly breeze affects the eastern provinces. On Tenerife’s peaks, a moderate westerly wind will be felt. Daytime highs on southern coasts are expected to approach 30°C across much of the archipelago.
The ocean remains calm: slightly choppy conditions on northern coasts with waves under one metre, and a light ripple on sheltered southern shores.

Tenerife
Much clearer skies than in recent days, both in the north and the south. In Santa Cruz, temperatures will range from 21°C to 28°C. Generally calm conditions with little to no wind.
Gran Canaria
The famous “panza de burro” low cloud over the north will gradually thin out, letting the sun break through. A few gusts may develop along the south-eastern coast in the afternoon. Temperatures similar to Tenerife.
Lanzarote
Clouds in the north during the morning, clearing to sunshine by the afternoon. In Arrecife, expect temperatures between 19°C and 27°C.
Fuerteventura
A cloudy start in the northern half, but clouds will soon clear to leave a sunny day with light winds. Temperatures range from 19°C to 27°C.
La Palma
Low clouds in the north and some cloud development on both slopes and the south. A stray drop of rain cannot be ruled out in the morning. Temperatures similar to the other islands.
La Gomera
Scattered clouds at most, mainly in the north during the early and late hours, then clearing. Temperatures range from 21°C to 28°C.
El Hierro
Variable cloud cover throughout the day, with thicker patches at dawn and dusk. Cooler than the other islands, with highs around 19°C and lows of 15°C.
La Graciosa
Low clouds in the morning, clearing from midday onwards. Almost no wind, calm ocean, and steady temperatures.
