Wind will blow moderate from the northeast, with strong intervals at the southeastern and northwestern extremes of Tenerife. On the west coast, breezes will predominate, while in the central peaks, wind will be moderate from the southwest, occasionally strong, shifting to a westerly component during the afternoon.

Rest of the Canary Islands

In Lanzarote, cloudy intervals are expected during the first half of the day and towards the end, mainly in the north and west, with a tendency towards mostly clear skies in the afternoon. Temperatures could reach 30 degrees in the far southeast. Arrecife will see between 22 and 29 degrees.

Fuerteventura will see mostly clear skies, with some intervals in the north and west during the early hours and first part of the day. Temperatures could reach 30 degrees in the southeast. Puerto del Rosario will record 21 and 28 degrees.

In Gran Canaria, there will be cloudy intervals in the north, with more overcast skies at the beginning and end of the day, while the rest of the island will remain mostly clear. Temperatures could reach 30 degrees in the southeast, south and west, especially in mid-altitude areas. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will see 24 and 27 degrees.

On La Gomera, cloudy intervals will predominate in the north, with clear spells opening up during the afternoon. Temperatures will see little change, with minimums rising slightly in inland areas. San Sebastián de La Gomera will reach 28 degrees.

On La Palma, the north and east will remain cloudy and light rain cannot be ruled out, especially in the northeast. Temperatures will change little, with Santa Cruz de La Palma expecting 23 and 27 degrees. Finally, on El Hierro there will be cloudy intervals in the north, with clear spells during the afternoon, while the rest of the island will be mostly clear. Valverde will record a low of 20 degrees and a high of 24.

In Canary Islands waters, northeast winds of force 4 to 5 are expected, with the possibility of temporarily increasing to force 6. Aemet forecasts moderate to rough seas, with a northwesterly swell of between one and two metres.
