Festival expands beyond music

The Tenerife Phe Festival 2026 is set to broaden its musical line-up with a host of additional activities centred on wellbeing, gastronomy and scientific outreach. The eleventh edition of the event will take place on 4 and 5 September in Puerto de la Cruz, with parallel events getting under way during the preceding week.

This year’s programme, dubbed PheXperiences, will feature the seventh edition of Phe Yoga, a curated selection of wines from Tenerife and free guided visits to the Teide Observatory in collaboration with the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC). The festival has also received fresh certification from A Greener Future, the British organisation specialising in assessing the sustainability of cultural events. Yoga, sound bowls and a nutrition podcast

The Phe Yoga session will take place on Saturday 5 September between 10.00 and 14.00. The gathering is open both to those who practise yoga regularly and to complete beginners looking to give it a try. The programme opens at 10.00 with an Ashtanga session led by Ari from El Árbol Terapias Naturales. At 11.00, Elena from The Yoga House will run a workshop dedicated to alignment and body technique. At 12.00, Black Lotus arrives – a higher-intensity offering that combines rhythmic movements with elements of traditional yoga. The morning draws to a close at 13.00 with a Yin Yoga session guided by Elena and accompanied by Yasmina on singing bowls, gongs and drums.

Those wishing to take part must book a place in advance for their chosen session. This year’s edition will also feature the recording of a podcast on nutrition and wellbeing, hosted by Santi Estévez with contributions from specialists in the field.

Wine Garden and interactive tasting

The Phe Wine initiative will bring a selection of wines produced in Tenerife to the festival site, where attendees can sample them in the Wine Garden area throughout the concert days. The offering features wines from bodegas Arautava, Suertes del Marqués, 300 Líos and Las Galanas, all belonging to the Valle de La Orotava Denomination of Origin. Also present will be Bodega Loher, from the Tacoronte-Acentejo Denomination of Origin, alongside López Palacios.

As a pre-festival event, on Wednesday 2 September from 19.30, an interactive tasting of four wines will take place, complete with a workshop on customising your own bottle. The event will be held at Barrica de Los Momentos, Licorería Internacional, at number 29 Calle Puerto Viejo in Puerto de la Cruz. Advance registration is required to take part.

Guided tours of the Teide Observatory

Thanks to the ongoing collaboration between the festival and the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias, guided tours of the Teide Observatory will be organised for the third consecutive year. Activities will take place on the mornings of 31 August, 2 and 3 September, starting at 10.00 each day. Each visit lasts approximately 90 minutes and offers the chance to explore the facilities, view the telescopes and learn about some of the research projects currently under way at the observatory.

Places are limited and reserved exclusively for ticket holders of the Tenerife Phe Festival. Entry requires presenting your festival ticket alongside the free invitation obtained in advance. Organisers note that the activity is not recommended for children under the age of eight.
