One dead and two affected after lorry overturns on TF-5
One person has died and two others have been affected in a road accident that occurred this afternoon when a lorry overturned on one of the access routes into Santa Cruz de Tenerife, at the height of the Somosierra neighbourhood, the Local Police has told EFE.

The accident happened on the TF-5 motorway at Chamber and, in addition to the lorry, a taxi and a car were involved. The driver of the car was the person who died, according to sources from the 112 emergency service.
All lanes blocked and access to Santa Cruz cut
Police sources report that all traffic lanes have been affected and that access to Santa Cruz via that route has been closed, causing major tailbacks. The Local Police are attempting to open a diversion lane to allow vehicles that remain stationary on the TF-5 to get moving again.
