Clearer skies and a calmer Atlantic
After a few days of mixed conditions, the Canary Islands are in for a much calmer and brighter spell this Friday. The wind has dropped significantly, leaving a light breeze from the northeast and pleasant ocean breezes along the coast. The Atlantic is also settling down, with an ocean swell from the northeast producing waves just over a metre high on the north coasts and in the channels between islands. In the south, conditions are calm with only light ripples on the water.
Temperatures on the rise
It will feel noticeably warmer, especially in the midlands (medianías). Thermometers in Tenerife are set to hover around the 30°C mark, while inland areas of Gran Canaria could even surpass 32°C. It’s a moderate but welcome rise after cooler days.

At a glance
It’s a straightforward day across the archipelago: plenty of sunshine, a gentle ocean, and warmer air. A perfect day to be outdoors.
