Arona prepares for week of roadworks
Arona Council has announced via its social media channels that sanitation and wastewater treatment works will be carried out on several roads across the municipality between Monday 24 August and Friday 28 August. The works will cause traffic disruptions, and drivers are being urged to proceed with caution.

The planned works will affect the following zones:
Cabo Blanco: Carretera General TF-657
La Sabinita: Calle La Sabinita
Guargacho: Calle Zodiaco, Calle Bejuco and Camino Finca Don Virgilio
Guaza: Camino Las Cercas and EBAR Guaza
Las Galletas: EBAR Galletas I and II
Malpaso and Costa del Silencio: Camino Los Vivitos and Calle Ten Bel
Palm-Mar: EBAR Palm-Mar, Calle Cernícalo and Avenida El Palm Mar
Impulsión IM-01: Finca Toscal-Pitahaya, dissipation chamber and Charca Don Casiano
What drivers need to know
As a result of these works, there may be temporary road closures, alternating traffic and diversions along alternative routes. For the works corresponding to the Impulsión IM-01, access will be maintained for local residents and property owners in the designated areas.
The council recommends driving with caution, respecting temporary signage and following the instructions of on-site workers throughout the duration of the works.
