Friday starts the weekend with a mix of clouds and sunny spells across the Canary Islands. A few light showers or drizzles cannot be ruled out, especially on northern slopes and in parts of Lanzarote.
General outlook
Cloudy skies will dominate the north and east of La Palma, and the north of El Hierro, La Gomera, Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Cloud bases will sit around 1,300 to 1,500 metres. Lanzarote, La Graciosa and Fuerteventura will see variable cloud cover.
Local afternoon clouds may develop over western La Palma and southern Tenerife around midday and into the early afternoon. Temperatures will change little, with highs reaching or exceeding 30ºC in some areas.

La Palma
Variable cloud cover, with the most clouds in the north and northeast. Occasional light rain is possible early or late in the day.
