A settled but mixed day across the Canary Islands this Thursday, with variable cloud, a light touch of calima and a small dip in temperatures. No major changes are expected, though the eastern islands will see the most of the dust.
General outlook
High cloud will drift across the eastern half of the archipelago, while low cloud gathers in northern and eastern coastal areas and local afternoon cloud builds over the midlands of the western islands. Lanzarote
Some early low cloud in the north, with light calima and high cloud elsewhere. Pleasant temperatures, with highs of 24–28ºC and a light northwesterly wind.
Fuerteventura
High cloud and calima, with temperatures trending down but a summery feel persisting. Light north-northeasterly wind.
La Palma
Plenty of cloud, with the chance of some light rain over eastern midlands. Temperatures a little lower, with light variable coastal winds and a westerly over the summits.
La Gomera
Mostly cloudy skies, light calima and a muggy feel. Temperatures fall by a degree or so, with a westerly wind over the summit.
El Hierro
Cloudy skies with light calima. Temperatures ease slightly, with a light north-northwesterly coastal wind.
La Graciosa
Variable cloud with light calima. A high of 25ºC in Caleta de Sebo, with a light northerly wind.
