Saturday: wind and rough seas continue
A calmer day is on the cards, but the wind and rough ocean conditions from the departing low-pressure system are sticking around. Northern and eastern islands may see some morning drizzle, but overall it will be a dry day with pleasant temperatures.
General Outlook
Cloudy skies will affect the north of the more mountainous islands and the eastern islands, with a chance of weak, occasional drizzle in the early hours and morning. Elsewhere, expect mostly clear skies with scattered clouds. Temperatures will rise slightly compared to yesterday.
A moderate to strong northerly wind will blow across the archipelago, with probable very strong gusts exceeding 70 km/h on peaks and the eastern and western slopes. This also applies to the interior of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.
The Atlantic remains rough. A combined northwesterly swell will bring waves up to 3 metres to coasts exposed to the north and the western shores of El Hierro, La Palma, Fuerteventura, and Lanzarote. Other coastal areas will experience rough ocean conditions.

Tenerife
Cloudy in the north with probable drizzle. Scattered clouds elsewhere. A moderate northerly wind with very strong gusts exceeding 70 km/h on the dorsal ridge, high areas, and the eastern slope. A maximum of around 21°C is expected in Santa Cruz.
Gran Canaria
Cloudy in the north, where a weak, occasional spot of drizzle cannot be ruled out in the morning. Mostly clear or sunny elsewhere. A moderate to strong northerly wind, accelerating on the eastern and western slopes. Pleasant temperatures.
Lanzarote
Cloudy skies with probable drizzle in the early hours, especially in the south and west. A moderate to strong northerly wind with strong gusts inland. Temperatures will range from 14°C to 21°C in Arrecife.
Fuerteventura
Very cloudy skies, particularly inland. Clearing in the afternoon, especially in the southeast. A moderate northerly wind. Probable strong gusts in the south and interior. Maximum temperatures between 18°C and 22°C in Puerto del Rosario.
La Palma
Mostly clear in the morning except for cloud in the north and west. Elsewhere, variable cloud cover, becoming more compact in the afternoon. A moderate northerly wind. Temperatures will range from 14°C to 21°C in Santa Cruz de La Palma.
La Gomera
Cloudy inland and in the north. Mostly clear or sunny elsewhere. A moderate to strong northerly wind with probable strong gusts in the east and west.
El Hierro
Cloudy in the north and interior. Mostly clear or sunny elsewhere. A moderate northerly wind with probable very strong gusts. Cool temperatures.
La Graciosa
Very cloudy skies. A moderate northerly wind with probable strong gusts. Temperatures will range from 16°C to 21°C in Caleta de Sebo.
