The mercury will drop a few degrees compared to Tuesday, but it remains well above seasonal averages for September. The hottest spots will be the southern midlands and peaks of Gran Canaria, expecting highs of 36 to 38ºC. Inland and southern Fuerteventura could reach 34 to 36ºC, while most other islands will see top temperatures between 32 and 34ºC.
Coastal areas in the north will feel more comfortable, though humidity will make it feel muggy. Skies stay mostly clear, with some low cloud patches below 500–700m early and late in the day. A few local afternoon clouds may build over Tenerife’s central peaks.

Lanzarote
Clouds may gather in the north and west early and late in the day. Otherwise, sunshine with calima aloft and summer-like temperatures between 26 and 33ºC.
Fuerteventura
It will feel less hot than recent days, but the interior and southern areas will still sizzle with highs of 34 to 36ºC. A sunny day with moderate northeast winds and high-level calima.
La Palma
Apart from some low clouds on the north and east coasts at the start and end of the day, expect bright sunshine and summer temperatures. Maximums will range between 25 and 34ºC with moderate trade winds along the coast.
La Gomera
Clear skies with some low cloud rolling over the north below 600m. Temperatures will drop a few degrees compared to earlier this week, with maximums of 32 to 34ºC in the southern midlands.
El Hierro
Mostly clear skies with light calima, aside from some low clouds in the northeast. The warmest air will be in the southern midlands, where temperatures could reach 32 to 34ºC.
La Graciosa
