canary islands weather forecast thursday 26 march

Thursday: calmer Atlantic after the storm

A more settled day across the archipelago

Storm Therese is finally moving away, leaving behind a much more stable Thursday for the Canary Islands. Expect compact cloud cover in the north of the mountainous islands, which could bring a spot of drizzle to mid-altitude areas. Temperatures will see a slight, insignificant drop. The wind will be a moderate northeasterly, with stronger gusts possible in the northwest and southeast extremes of the taller islands. The Atlantic remains rough on northern coasts, with waves around 2 metres, while southern coasts will see slightly choppy to calm ocean conditions.
