The TikTokers travelled many miles to try the place that had been recommended to them on numerous occasions, finally deciding to visit and sample its various dishes. To start, they tried the goat’s cheese croquettes with pumpkin marmalade. The gofio escaldado (a traditional Canarian toasted flour dish) surprised them because “there are very few places in Tenerife that present the dish like this; in Gran Canaria you see it a lot.” They highlighted the onion provided to use as a spoon and the generous amount of meat pieces in the dish.
